A Serious Game
How did we do it?
We created some of our characters on sculptris. We then used them on Puppet Pals to help retell the story of Tinirau and his whale Tutunui.
Why did we choose to do it?
Because it seemed like it was a good story and interesting to present and read.
What was our favorite part?
Our favorite part was when the three sisters kidnapped Kae as he deserved it because he killed the whale.

Invaders
We liked this book because we learnt about animals that are taking over countries and destroying native plants and animals. We chose telligami because the figures didn't just stand there they actually moved. You are also able to create your own figure which is really cool.
Maui and his Brothers
We read a book about Maui and his adventures which were awesome. We decided to create a movie using puppet pals on the iPad to help create a different story that included Maui and his brothers. Please enjoy our story.
Celebrity Star Profile
We read an article about the different sizes and shapes of stars and their life cycle. This told us all about supernova's, birth of stars and their brightness. We decided to create a Lego stop motion movie to help explain what we have read.
Maui and the Sun
During reading we have been studying Myths and Legends. Our teacher gave us a book about Maui and his adventures. We decided to recreate this myth using comic life. We used the story for inspiration but changed it a little bit to suit us. We hope you enjoy.
King of the Birds
We read this myth and decided to retell it using explain everything and toontastic.
Bloodsuckers
Our group read a book that told us all about animals and insects that suck blood to survive. We decided to use puppet pals and imovie on the ipad to retell what we had learned from the story.
Otago Gold Rush
Why did we do it? Because we thought it was a very interesting book and it was also a part of New Zealand history.
How did we do it? We wrote scripts, using different apps to show different parts of the article, this is what we call an app smash.
What is this about? This is about the Otago gold rush, this video shows what we learnt about it.

Cricket News Update
Why'd we do it?.
Because Kyla and I are into cricket and we wanted to talk about our three favourite cricket players.
How did we do it?
We wrote scripts about the interesting people we wanted to talk about then we used the green screen and took images from the internet and dropped them in the background with an app on the iPad.
What's it about?.
Three legends of cricket history whose names are Debbie Hockley, Tim Southee and Burt Sutcliffe. We thought the book we read was interesting so we decided to make a green screen movie.
Thanks for watching :)

Outrageous Readers
The Outrageous Readers created a tsunami video a few days ago.We created this because we wanted you to know more facts about tsunami's. We created some ideas of a possible warning system, escape route and a safe zone. All of these things are close to school. We wanted to inform you about the hard facts.
How we created this movie is by using the green screen. We found pictures that we liked and suited what we were talking about. We used a green screen app on the iPad to help us create the background.

Burping Books
This is the burping books project about finding Tutankhamen's treasure. The reason why we did this is because we thought it would be a good experience for our reading group so we would learn from our mistakes while trying something we had never tried before. Our favourite bit of the project was when Ella interviewed Henry and Ellesha, about what they found and how long it took to find the tomb. We picked this story because we found it the most interesting story out of the book.
